Cengiz Celik, a weather forecaster at the Meteorological Directorate, said no rain was expected in most parts of the country.
“Looking at the next 10 days, rains will only fall in the eastern Black Sea region and eastern Anatolia,” Celik said.

The weather on Sunday was sunny and very hot in all five major cities: Istanbul 33°C, Ankara and Bursa 35°C, Izmir 39°C.

Strong winds will bring cooler temperatures in Istanbul, Bursa and Izmir, while in Antalya, high relative humidity will make a temperature of 33 degrees feel like 38-40 degrees.

The Poyaz winds will continue to blow strongly in the Marmara, providing cooling relief.
