MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli visited the mausoleum of MHP founding chairman Alparslan Türkes in Beştepe after Eid al-Adha prayers.
After the prayer, Bahceli left red and white carnations at Alparslan Türkes’ grave and poured water from a copper pitcher. Upon leaving, Bahceli made a statement to reporters. He congratulated the Turkish people on Eid al-Adha and said the elections are now over, adding that the People’s Alliance has four important years until 2028. He said:
“Despite the country being in an environment where structural reforms have been made, institutional structures have been established, and democratic approaches will be further developed, they are talking about high living standards and high costs of living, which are weighing down on the lives of the people,” the people are pessimistic, saying, “The government will collapse,” and so on, but it is because of the resolute attitude of the president, the harmonious activities of the members of the People’s Alliance and their readiness to make all kinds of sacrifices for the sake of society that they cannot stop polluting the life of society. In this regard, the state will implement a great plan to solve Turkey’s important problems. We hope and are confident that there will be no cracks in us. The People’s Alliance, like breaking rocks, is noisy, but politicians need to be sincere in unity, agreement and reconciliation, and the MHP firmly supports the president. Under the leadership of Turkey, world peace, tranquility on earth, and the struggle against imperialist forces are striving to achieve great success. We need to help, not get in the way. Our wish from this Eid day is: peace, unity, solidarity and sharing. With these things in mind, the MHP will continue to walk with all responsibilities and sacrifices. No one should doubt about this. Those who do not understand MHP and who pledge their future to broken tables should remember how they shamelessly destroyed them, but now they are their guides. May God reform them.”
