SIOUXLAND (KTIV) – Flooding continues across Siouxland, causing many road closures. Major roads remain closed, including I-29 from North Sioux City to Vermillion, South Dakota.
Highway 20 near Correctionville and Highway 31 south of Washuta to Smithland remain closed. IA 141 between Smithland and Mapleton is also closed.
Motorists are advised that once roads affected by high water levels reopen, they should drive carefully as there may be water below the road and take care to avoid rapids and standing water on the roads.
