The Osceola Council on Aging (OCOA) has provided numerous food assistance programs to the Osceola area for over 53 years since 1971. In 1975, through our efforts, OCOA became the designated provider for Meals on Wheels (MOW).Over the past 50 years, as our community’s population has grown, so has the need for additional nutritional support social service programs. Recognizing this need, we initiated mass meal services through OCOA Dining Clubs. We added food pantries in Kissimmee and St. Cloud. The MOW program currently supports over 2,000 Osceola households and has provided nearly 5 million meals to residents since its inception.As…
