SYCAMORE – The 13th annual Out of School Food Drive to support Sycamore’s food pantry is running through July 14, and local residents are encouraged to donate supplies.The annual campaign is sponsored by the Merchants of Downtown Sycamore group, according to a news release.Food will be donated to Sycamore and Spartan food pantries. Grand Lake was once a thriving trade center in the West. During the mining boom, the county seat was moved from Hot Sulphur Springs to Grand Lake in 1881, where it remained until 1888.
