Four state republics replace their attorneys general
HSK Decision No. 92 dated January 18, 2024 was published in the Official Gazette appointing the Prosecutors General of the four provinces. According to the decision, Antalya Chief Prosecutor Zafer Koç was appointed to the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Prosecutor’s Office, Ankara Deputy Chief Prosecutor Mustafa Gökçe was appointed to the Ankara West Chief Prosecutor’s Office, Ankara West Chief Prosecutor Gökhan Karaköse was appointed to the Ankara West Chief Prosecutor’s Office, and Ankara Chief Prosecutor, Deputy Chief Prosecutor Yakup Ali Kahvesi was appointed to the Antalya Chief Prosecutor’s Office.
By decision No. 253 published in the Official Gazette on February 21, 2024, the place of work of 37 judges and prosecutors was changed, and by decision No. 253 published in the Official Gazette on June 13, 2024, the place of work of 820 judges, prosecutors, councillors and chairpersons of the Court of Justice and the High Criminal Court was changed. By decision No. 821 of the same date, 290 members and presiding judges of the Administrative and Tax Courts were appointed.

Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunci congratulated the decision, which was published in the Official Gazette. “I wish the appointed judges and prosecutors great success on the path of justice, may it be beneficial for the judicial community, our country and the nation,” Tunci said in a post.
