Provocateur Diamond Tema, whose investigation was sparked after he insulted the prophet with provocative and ugly language in a YouTube show, has fled the country to Albania.
Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunci announced that an investigation had been launched against Diamond Tema, who for some time had been making insulting and provocative statements about Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on his YouTube channel “Yer6.”
An arrest warrant was issued
A warrant for the arrest of “Diamond Tema” was issued for him abroad after he made derogatory, nasty and provocative comments about the Prophet Muhammad on a social media account he uses under the name “Yer6.”
“Ugly and provocative comments are never acceptable.”
Minister Tunci said an arrest warrant was issued because the individual in question was abroad, “due to the use of derogatory, ugly and provocative language regarding our prophet in the video content shared on the social media account Yer6 in Istanbul.” The Chief Prosecutor charged him with “publicly inciting hatred and hostility among the people,” and an ex officio investigation was launched on June 16, 2024, immediately after the posting, and an arrest warrant was issued for Diamond Tema because he was abroad.
“Provocative, ugly and provocative language used in relation to Islam and our beloved Prophet is never acceptable,” he said, adding that “investigations are being carried out thoroughly.”
“I think in four or five months this will die down and no one will care anymore,” Pishkin continued.
Diamond Tema, whose latest video did not get the support he hoped for, said he was coming to Turkey in four or five months. “The incident will die down. No one will care,” he said.
