The cooking and business competition show “Food Stars” is returning with a star-studded second season that pits two of the biggest names in reality TV against each other. This season, Gordon Ramsay will handpick his team of chefs to go up against a team handpicked by none other than Lisa Vanderpump of “Vanderpump Rules.”

When is season 2 of Food Stars?
“Food Stars” season 2 began airing in the United States on May 22, 2024.
New episodes will be released every Wednesday on Fox and available to stream the next day on Hulu.
Explaining the new format of Food Stars Season 2
In the first season of Food Stars, the team format had not yet been introduced; each contestant was on their own, competing to prove their business acumen and win investment from Gordon Ramsay. With no pitch-first format, it wasn’t always clear what food or drink product each contestant would be promoting at first, leaving fans with questions.
This year’s show will feature an unusual plot in which the two hosts will organize the contestants into teams and mentor them in a bid to win the ultimate prize. Lisa Vanderpump will co-host the show alongside Ramsay and compete against him.
In the first episode of Season 2, many potential contestants pitched their food and beverage businesses to the duo. With only seven spots total on each team, there will be a total of 14 contestants at the start of the Food Stars competition.
The selected teams will be mentored by Ramsay and Vanderpump and will compete against each other on their business acumen. The challenges will test their business skills, pitting participants against each other in marketing their food products, coming up with new ideas and managing their brands.
As with last season, one contestant will be eliminated each week, with the team gradually whittling down the number of contestants to determine the ultimate winner, who will again receive a significant investment in their business.
