DUBAR – The first results are beginning to come in from closed taverns in four towns and three districts where the Supreme Electoral Commission (YSK) has decided to reopen local elections.
After YSK lifted the broadcasting ban, the first results came in from 1,700 voters in Dersim Mazgirt, Akpazar town.
In Akpazar, unofficial results showed that AK Party candidate Ali Aydın was elected mayor with 644 votes, according to the DHA.
CHP candidate Zeynel Yıldırım received 422 votes, DEM candidate Orhan Çelebi received 220 votes, MHP candidate Neşe Gül received 81 votes, and Rewelar Party candidate Ahmet Yılmaz received 9 votes.
In a town where 1,381 people voted, five votes were invalidated.
In the 2024 local government general elections on March 31, 2024, CHP candidate Zeynel Yıldırım won 471 votes in Akpazarı city, while AK Party candidate Ali Aydın won 467 votes. CHP’s Aydın won by a margin of four votes.
CHP made a difference in Pinarbasi
In Kayseri-Pinarbasi province, the CHP candidate who won the March 31 election by 83 votes widened his lead to 289 votes, according to unofficial results.
CHP candidate Deniz Ya’an announced that he had won the election for CHP Kayseri provincial chairman and received the signed minutes.
DSP wins with 2 votes: CHP WANTED BÜYÜKARIŞTIRAN
According to inconclusive results, CHP candidate Ertugrul Çamlıca won the mayoral election for the town of Büyükkalştilan in Kırklareli’s Lüleburgaz district.
In the municipality of Büyükkalıştiran, six candidates competed in repeated elections, but the YSK decided to hold the elections again due to the limited number of people who voted.
According to inconclusive results, CHP candidate Ertugrul Çamlıca was elected president with 2,0286 votes.
DSP candidate Hakan Karaman received 2,011 votes, AK Party candidate Rasim Vatansevaa received 14 votes, Rewelfare Party candidate Fatih Shafak received 11 votes, MHP candidate Erkan Tezcan received 8 votes, and Saadet Party candidate Yusuf Berber received 3 votes.
Of the 4,537 voters who cast ballots in the election, 114 votes were deemed invalid.
In the local government general elections on March 31, DSP candidate Hakan Karaman received 2,059 votes and CHP candidate Çamlca received 2,057 votes, but the election was canceled after it was determined that only two candidates had voted.
Addressing CHP members who expressed their joy after the results were revealed, Ertugrul Çamlica said he was very happy with the outcome and proud to wave the party’s flag again.
Çamlica said anyone can become mayor without discrimination.
Democrats declare victory in Hillary
In Urfa Hirban, the DEM Party claimed victory, with thousands of people gathering in front of the party’s local headquarters to celebrate.
AK Party candidate wins in Güzelyurt
Again, unconfirmed results showed that AK Party candidate Ünal Demircioğlu won the repeated election in Aksaray’s Güzelyurt district.
Candidates from nine parties competed in Güzelyurt district, but the YSK decided to rerun the elections, citing that only a “limited number of voters” had cast ballots.
Citizens cast their votes at nine ballot boxes in three schools between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
According to inconclusive results, AK Party candidate Demircioğlu was elected president with 873 votes, İYİ Party candidate received 580 votes and MHP candidate received 287 votes.
Demircioglu and his entourage celebrated in the town square. Demircioglu said he won the re-election by a large margin and said: “I’m very grateful to you all. The good sense and foresight of the people was very important for us. God bless them. As long as the people are behind us, there is nothing we can’t do. We will do our best in everything.”
MHP received votes in Health Township
Inconclusive results showed MHP candidate Abdullah Tosun won re-election in the health city in the center of Aksaray.
A total of 1,799 voters registered with the Ministry of Health cast their votes at eight ballot boxes in the school.
According to provisional results, the MHP candidate was elected mayor of Tosun with 806 votes, while AK Party candidate Mehmet Yizit received 748 votes.
In the elections held in the resort on March 31, MHP candidate Abdullah Tosun received 763 votes and AK Party candidate Mehmet Izit received 762 votes.
In the resort, the AK Party challenged the results of the March 31 election, claiming that only a “limited number of voters” had cast ballots. After reviewing the results, the Supreme Election Commission upheld the challenge and decided to hold a new election.
