According to the FlightRadar24 application, the Akhundu UAV entered Turkish airspace after a mission in Iran.
The Akunci drone, assigned by Turkey to search for a helicopter crash involving Iran’s president and some officials, spotted a heat source believed to be helicopter debris and shared its coordinates with Iranian authorities.
Following the discovery of the Akhundu drone, the Iranian Red Crescent announced that it had discovered the location of the remains of President Raisi’s helicopter.
Iranian state television said there were no signs of life in the helicopter’s wreckage.

Iranian state television reported that the accident occurred when Risi’s helicopter made a hard landing while returning from the region. Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahiyan announced that East Azerbaijan Governor Malik Rahmeti and Friday Imam Ayatollah Ali Hashim of Tabriz were also on board the helicopter.
Search and rescue teams reported that they were having trouble continuing their work due to bad weather, and Iran asked Turkey to conduct an aerial search using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
