Local elections were also held in the Pınarbaş district of Kayseri, the Hirvan district of Şanlıurfa, the Güzelyurt district of Aksaray, the Sivas Yıldüzelli Günkaya district, the Kırklareli Lüleburgaz Büyükkalışturan district, the Tunceli Mazgirt Akpazarı district and the Aksaray Liktön. According to inconclusive results, the AKP won three presidential elections, the CHP won two, and the DEM Party and the MHP won one each.
Voting for the mayoral elections in three districts and four towns, for which the Supreme Election Commission (YSK) decided to renew local elections, ended at 5 p.m., with a total of 58,259 voters casting their ballots in 312 ballot boxes.
According to provisional results, the AKP won three mayoral seats, the CHP won two, the DEM Parti won one and the MHP won one.
Pinarbas said “CHP.”
In Kayseri’s Pinarbaş district, where the YSK decided to reopen the local elections, CHP candidate Deniz Yağan won 6,783 votes. MHP candidate Menduh Uzunoğlu won 6,0494 votes.
In the March 31 local elections, CHP candidate Deniz Ya’an received 5,082 votes and MHP candidate Mendu Uzunluogu received 4,758 votes. In the new local elections held today, BBP Pinarbaş mayoral candidate Hayrettin Uslu withdrew his candidacy and decided to support MHP candidate Mendu Uzunluogu.
CHP Deputy Chairman Uras Karas, accompanied by a CHP delegation, made a statement regarding Pinarbasi’s re-election in front of the Kayseri Provincial Directorate building.
He said of Mr Karas’ election results:
“According to the uncertain results, the people of Pinarbas defended their vote in the elections of March 31 and President Deniz Yağan won the elections with a margin of 289 votes. We have signed minutes of the results of all the ballot boxes. We would like to thank our organization and all our compatriots in Pinarbas who supported and fought for us during this process. Our mayor, district heads and lawyers are on the Election Commission. “Those who stole the votes of Pinarbas on March 31 have today received the best answer from our compatriots, the people of Pinarbas.”
Hilban: “It’s another DEM party.”
Votes were cast in 125 ballot boxes set up for 27,686 registered voters in Sanliurfa’s Hirvan district.
According to a post by the DEM party, unofficial results showed that DEM candidate Serhan Paydash was elected mayor of Sanliurfa’s Hirvan district by more than 3,000 votes.
According to party minutes, the DEM candidate received 10,731 votes, while the AKP candidate Aslan Ali Bayuk received 7,420 votes, widening the margin of victory from 500 on March 31 to 3,244.
Commenting on the election results in Hirban, DEM Party Co-chairman Tunsur Bakrhan said the people of Hirban responded best to the illegalities and injustices, sharing that “the revolution is back, DEM is here.”
CHP candidate also wins in Büyükkalıştiran
The votes were cast in 16 ballot boxes set up for 950 of the 4,000 registered voters in the town of Büyükkalištlan in Kirklareli’s Lüleburgaz district.
According to inconclusive results, CHP candidate Ertugrul Çamlıca won the presidency. In Büyükkalışturan, 4,537 out of 4,950 voters went to the polls and cast their votes.
Çamlica’s rival, DSP candidate Hakan Karaman, received 2,0101 votes, according to inconclusive results.
In Günekaya on March 31, the name of an MHP candidate emerged, but this time the winner was the AKP.
Votes were cast in five ballot boxes set up for 1,147 registered voters in Günekaya town, Yıldüzeli district of Sivas.
Inconclusive results from the re-election in the town of Günekaya showed that AKP candidate Hüseyin Kurşukız won. In the March 31 local elections, MHP candidate Hasan Ersovan won with 51.47 percent of the vote.
AKP candidate wins in Akpazar town of Tunceli
Votes were cast in 10 ballot boxes set up among 1,700 registered voters in Akpazar town in Tunceli’s Mazgirt district, and five votes were deemed invalid.
Inconclusive results showed that AKP candidate Ali Aydın was elected mayor with 644 votes, while CHP candidate Zeynel Yıldırım received 422 votes and DEM candidate Orhan Çelebi received 220 votes.
In the town of Akpazar, the AKP contested the results of the March 31 election, alleging that some voters had not been given ballots for the mayoral election by polling station officials, and the YSK, after reviewing the results, upheld the contest and invalidated the election.
AKP wins in Aksaray Güzelyurt, MHP wins in Health
Votes were cast in nine ballot boxes set up for the 2,0032 registered voters in Aksaray’s Güzelyurt district. Unofficial results showed that MHP mayoral candidate Abdullah Tosun won in Güzelyurt with 806 votes.
Votes were cast in eight ballot boxes set up for 1,799 registered voters in the Health City in the central district of Aksaray. Unofficial results showed that AKP mayoral candidate Ünal Dermencioğlu won in the health category with 873 votes.
