The Colombian made his presence known in the bantamweight Muay Thai division in style, defeating Japan’s Omori Kota with a slick right high kick and left hook combination within the first 30 seconds of the bout.
But Sayik will not be deterred, and despite losing his opening round decision, his resume shows he still has a lot to show ONE fans.
Since starting his martial arts career at the age of eight, he has won 13 Turkish kickboxing titles as well as several European titles, and his fast and flashy style will make his showdown with Estopinan even more exciting as he seeks his first win in the world’s biggest mixed martial arts organization.
With Saic looking to get his first win and Estupinan looking to prove that their debut wasn’t a flash in the pan, their styles of play are fun to watch and it’s easy to see this match being one of the highlights of the night.
Elsewhere on the schedule, two of the most dangerous knockout artists on the planet, Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Joe Nattawut, will face off in a high-stakes rematch for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title.
Additionally, long-time ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon will face Dennis Pulic in his return after a nine-month absence, lightweight submission grappling world champion Cade Ruotolo will make his long-awaited mixed martial arts debut, and fellow grappling champion Mikey Musumeci will move up a weight class to try and shake off the ghosts of the past by facing the last man who ever defeated him.
It’s a night not to be missed.
