“I want to thank my city team, city council, state and entire community for really getting behind this effort and making it count. What’s amazing about Hawaii is that people continue to give out of the kindness of their hearts. Sometimes they give even when they really have nothing to give. I’m both humbled and inspired by that generosity and spirit, that selfless desire to take action because others are suffering. There’s nothing more powerful than that.”

“Approximately 160,000 people turn to Hawaii Food Bank for help each month and we work hard to ensure they continue to have access to safe, healthy food,” explained Amy Miller, president and CEO of Hawaii Food Bank. “We are able to continue our work thanks to the support of our community and countless generous partners, including the State of Hawaii, the City and County of Honolulu.”
