A young woman tragically lost both of her legs below the knees after undergoing a nose job at a plastic surgery clinic in Turkey.
Sevinc Ceklik was 25 when she signed up for a nose reduction surgery at a private hospital in Istanbul.
After a two-hour operation on May 2, 2014, she appeared to be in good health and was sent home, where she developed a fever.
Even when she returned to the hospital a week later to have the cast removed, the hospital insisted she was fine.
Doctors told her her symptoms were normal, local media reported.

However, despite the doctors’ assurances, her condition continued to deteriorate.
Her brother, who has not been named, said Sevinch had been feeling unwell for a long time and was unable to eat, her legs had turned black and she was hospitalised in critical condition.
Emergency doctors diagnosed her with sepsis and told her family on June 9 that they had no option but to amputate both of her legs to save her life.

Mr Sevinch has since filed a complaint and is seeking £99,928 compensation.
Hospital staff insisted they were not to blame and that the sepsis was caused by eating chicken two weeks after the surgery, just before being admitted to hospital.
The court has requested an expert report and a ruling is expected in April next year.
