A couple regrets traveling to Turkey to get plastic surgery to look ‘Instagrammable’ and are now warning others to look into it.
Zara Edgar, 36, and her husband Igel, 39, sold their Manchester home and headed to a new life in Grenada last November when they stopped for surgery.
She spent thousands of pounds searching for the ‘perfect’ stomach, boobs, butt and teeth while he underwent dental treatment.
They both regret their decision and now feel more anxious than ever, with Zara even going so far as to say she feels like she has “metal” in her stomach.
The couple, who now live on the island of Grenada in the West Indies, found a deal online and booked the surgery overseas.

Zara, who used to work as a banker, said: “I used to aim for that perfect Instagram look, but now I would never do that. It’s not worth it.”
“Please accept me for who I am. I wish I had done that. I regret it very much.
“I’m so upset. I wanted to feel good in a bikini.
“Egel told me before that I was nice. I should have believed him. I feel like I have metal in my stomach. I’m very unhappy.”
She added: “Mr. Igel’s implants were supposed to give him confidence, but he is now more anxious than ever.”
“What I want people to know is to do as much research as possible to avoid doing something like this.
“Don’t trust Instagram as a platform to find surgery. Everything looks great on Instagram.

“It may be cheaper to go abroad than to the UK, but taking care of yourself is far more important than buying cheap food.”
She said she paid for the surgery and an 11-night hotel stay in the contract she found with the clinic, which she discovered on Instagram.
Zara’s £6,000 operation was carried out on the first day, followed by £4,500 of dental work four days later.
Construction worker Egel’s dental treatment (implants and veneers) also cost £4,500, and he spent another £1,000 on food during his stay.
Zara says she’s not complaining about her breasts getting bigger and says she can live with her crooked teeth.

However, she says her stomach still hurts and her butt is not as big as she would like.
Zara said she contacted the company and was told that there was a 20-year warranty, so she could be returned.
The Turkish company claims the couple paid less than £16,000, but would not confirm the total amount.
They also claim the couple did not make the final payment, but did not disclose the amount owed.
The company added that the couple appeared happy at the time of their departure and were available for help at any time.
The plastic surgery was a complex operation, they said, adding that there were hundreds of patients.
