Daniela Westbrook says her latest plastic surgery in Turkey nearly killed her in her latest battle to regain her face after years of drug abuse and botched surgeries.

Danniella Westbrook is unrecognizable from the 1990 EastEnders starlet.
The Sam Mitchell star, 49, shot to fame as Phil and Grant’s younger sister and has amassed thousands of fans across the country.
But after her highly publicised battle with cocaine, she became famously without a nose when shocking photos were made public showing her missing septum.
Since then, Daniela has embarked on a “nightmare” of plastic surgery, with multiple surgeries to restore her face.
But it looks like her beauty journey isn’t over yet as she admitted she “wanted to die” after her latest film left her bloody, bruised and “disappointing”.
septum defect
By 1999, Daniela’s septum had rotted due to her drug addiction, and scenes in EastEnders had to be filmed from above to hide her nostrils.
After a now infamous photo of her at the British Soap Awards ceremony showed how rotten her nose was from drugs, partying and addiction took over her life and she eventually quit the soap. I had no choice but to do it.
The star embarked on a series of cosmetic surgeries to restore her nose, telling Celebrity Big Brother in 2016: “When I overcame my drug addiction, I replaced that addiction with a cosmetic surgery addiction.”

Collapsed cheeks
Daniela’s nose, as well as her cheekbones, began to break down from inhaling cocaine mixed with a tranquilizer commonly used in cattle.
In a 2018 interview, she revealed that her cheekbones had become “thinner” and the left side of her face had completely “sunken in.”
Some days, her cheeks would swell painfully as her bones “rotted” and “weakened.”
A rib hit my face
Last year, it was reported that Daniela had part of a rib inserted into her face as part of reconstructive surgery.
She underwent rib insertion surgery in 2018 after her cheekbones and gums rotted due to osteoporosis.
The scary-sounding procedure was just one in a long list of surgeries the star underwent, which also included tooth extractions…
rotten gums
After a bout of osteoporosis, the star said he was left with screws in place of teeth and cut his tongue when trying to speak.
While trying to overcome the problem in 2018, she revealed that a botched surgery in 2015 led to horrific complications. “I don’t feel like myself anymore,” she told the Mirror.
“I almost died. I had two IVs on each side. Then they had all my teeth pulled out again and I was given these dentures. They didn’t have to have all my teeth pulled out first. My heart broke because of the place. “
Daniela said she needed another surgery.
He was refused a £500,000 surgery on the NHS.
Daniela underwent five operations in Turkey and the NHS offered her facial surgery costing around £500,000 to repair her disfigured face.
The surgery was supposed to reconstruct her damaged cheekbone and repair her collapsed nose.
However, the actress declined the offer and decided to work in Türkiye.
She told The Sun: “I was studying with a professor in Liverpool. I should have stayed with him, but a friend convinced me to go to Turkey. It was my own stupidity. It’s a fault,” he said.
“There’s a hole in my head.”
Daniela underwent a thread lift, cheek and lip liposuction, chin fat grafting and jawline etching in Turkey in May this year.
However, the actress took to Instagram to share a photo of herself taken before the surgery and said she couldn’t believe what had been done to her.
Covered with blood and bruises, she lamented: “Three months ago, I looked like this and thought I looked terrible. I want my world to look like this again.”
“I can’t believe what this surgery has done to me.”
I was “slapped” by a surgeon.
The former soap star traveled to Turkey to undergo facial reconstruction surgery in a desperate fight to save her face, but Daniela said she was left traumatized after the procedure and claimed it was carried out without anesthesia.
The actress told The Sun that a surgeon once slapped her during an operation and that her assistant confiscated her phone when she begged him to stop.
Daniela claimed the doctor “slapped her on the other side of her face,” and she was stitched up by a physician’s assistant and sent home without any painkillers or antibiotics.
She was then rushed to a hospital in Portugal, where she began to lose vision in one eye.
“The final strategy”
After her ordeal in Turkey, Daniela vowed never to undergo surgery there again.
But she has not ruled out the possibility of going under the knife again.
When I explained that I wanted to go to Liverpool to get my nose fixed “properly”, she said “OK!” Magazine: “After almost four years of waiting, I’m going back to my Liverpool surgeon to get my nose fixed.
They are going to rebuild all the bridges in my mouth and build the front of my nose. I have to wait for it to heal first, but I will heal it when I can.”
Heartbreakingly, Daniella admitted that she often “looks in the mirror and hates what I see.”
We hope she starts to feel better as she looks forward to her wedding, which is scheduled for later this year.
