Former US President and recurrent Republican presidential candidate Trump called the controversial opening demonstrations at the 2024 Paris Olympics “disgraceful.” Trump says it will not happen at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

“I thought the opening ceremony was a disgrace,” former US President Donald Trump said of the protests at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
President Trump offered his assessment of the Olympics in a statement on Fox News television.
“I thought the opening ceremony was a disgrace.” Trump used the statement to say that won’t happen at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson also criticized the protests in a statement on his social media platform X account.
