The Montana State Fair opens on July 23rd and runs through August 3rd at Montana ExpoPark.
We’ve been getting a lot of the same questions, so we’ve put together some general information, information about the remaining evening’s concerts, and food vendors at the fair.

Fair Food Vendors
All food vendors except Sons of Norway and one other vendor are back at the 2024 Montana State Fair, according to Great Falls Fire Chief Mike McIntosh.
Great Falls Fire Rescue said all food vendors at this year’s fair passed the new fire code requirements with 100% compliance.
Fire safety regulations for food trucks will be revised
The Montana State Fair did not change its rules for food vendors this year, Expo Park Manager Susan Shannon told the Electric.
The fair had to comply with state and city of Great Falls fire codes, which included changes to the fire suppression system for the food vendors. McIntosh said those changes went into effect earlier this year, and food vendors were notified about them several years ago.
