Ohio Paws with Purpose held a pet food distribution in conjunction with a produce distribution at the Fairport Harbor Senior Center on July 21, according to a news release.
Nearly 1,000 pounds of dog and cat food were distributed to local dog and cat families. Each bag contained 8 to 10 pounds of dry food, three cans of pet food and treats. Ohio Paws will also be conducting distributions in the parking lot behind the Fairport Senior Center (located at 1380 East St.) on Aug. 26 and Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Anyone can participate in the pet food distribution, and no prior registration or identification is required.
