Paris 2024 is just around the corner, and this is your comprehensive guide to getting tickets to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The competitions will start soon, with the opening ceremony scheduled for July 26th, but the official Paris 2024 website still offers tickets for the various events. The Olympic ticket sales website has a clear list of events, venues and cities to help you narrow down your search. Tickets can be purchased from 15 euros. Before buying, make sure you check which round your ticket is for. Tickets for the early rounds are much cheaper than tickets for the medal round.
Events like soccer, rugby, basketball and boxing have tickets for early round matches on sale for under €50.

These low prices aren’t just limited to the event itself, however: Hotels in the French capital have been disappointed with low occupancy rates so far, as the event does not appear to be attracting as many tourists as initially hoped.
“We explain to them that the transport regulations have become more complicated, the price of metro tickets has tripled and the tourist tax has tripled. On top of that, the weather is bad and people are less keen to come,” said Aldric Duval, director of Ze Hotel.
Hotel occupancy rates in Paris are about 25 percent lower at this time of summer compared to the rest of the year.
Tickets are still on sale for the opening and closing ceremonies, but it would be a shame to miss out on this opportunity, as the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony will be the first to be held outside a stadium, instead taking place by boat on the Seine in the city center. Each country will have its own boat, and a total of 10,500 athletes will board their boats for a six-kilometer procession down the river before disembarking at the Trocadero, where the ceremony will continue.
Flights from Spain to Paris are slightly more expensive than usual, likely due to demand from tourists flocking to the capital, but one-way tickets from cities like Malaga, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville to the French capital cost just €60 a day.
