After the accident, which injured several people, the driver, Timur Cihantimur, was kidnapped by his mother, Eylem Tok, first to Egypt and then to the United States.
Arrest warrants were issued for them.
A warrant for capture was issued for them.
The Istanbul Chief Prosecutor’s Office, which launched an investigation into the case, issued an arrest warrant for “protection” against the mother, Eylem Tok, who was found to have flown from Istanbul to Egypt at around 3:50 a.m. on March 2. It requested the issuance of a red notice for Timur Cihantimur for “reckless homicide.”
