Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Kanani condemns Israeli attack in Yemen
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani condemned the Israeli air strikes on Yemen’s port of Hodeidah, saying the attacks were “dangerous” and that the United States and Israel were “dangerous”.
In a statement from the Iranian Foreign Ministry, “Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani strongly condemned the attacks by the Zionist regime on Yemen’s Hodeida port facilities, saying that the oppressed but strong Yemeni people have paid the price for the honorable support they gave to innocent people, women and children in Gaza. Foreign Ministry spokesman Kanani said that these attacks, which caused the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Hodeida port and the martyrdom and mass injuries of Yemeni citizens, are a manifestation of the aggressive nature of the Israeli regime, which is committing child murder, and warned, “This is to counter the growing tensions and the risk of escalating war in the region as a result of the Zionists’ dangerous adventures.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said Kanani blamed Israel and the US for the dangerous acts in question, saying: “Kanani considers the constant killing of defenseless inhabitants of the Gaza Strip and the multi-sided siege to be the main cause of the current tensions.” It said the Zionist regime is attacking Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip, in the region, adding that peace will not return to the region as long as Turkish aggression continues. “Kanani asserted that the Zionist regime and its supporters, including the US government, are directly responsible for the dangerous and unpredictable consequences of their adventurous attacks on Yemen and the continuation of their crimes in Gaza.”
