Bahar, who is also the president of Antalya Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), was seriously injured in a boat accident. He was rushed to a private hospital in the area by a medical team that arrived at the marina after being notified and was treated there. He died despite the hospital’s intervention.
It was discovered that Bahar died when his boat fell into the sea while it was moving and was struck by the propeller.
Who is Ali Bahar?
Ali Bahar was born in Sarampoli, Antalya in 1969. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Antalya, Bahar graduated from Anadolu University’s Department of Civil Engineering. He also holds a degree in Educational Formation from Anadolu University.
After completing his university education, he started working as a field engineer in the construction of a hotel for an Antalya company in Karaburun, and later as a site manager. After completing his military service in Diyarbakir, he left civil engineering and began his business activities.
Bahar started his business in the poultry, dairy and other chilled meat food sectors where his father Ibrahim Bahar was active in the past. He established a company in the Organized Industrial Zone that operates in different areas such as white meat, red meat, turkey and dairy products. The company operates with a capacity of 1200 tons and a closed area of 12,500 square meters. It also has a 3,000 square meter dairy facility in Altınova and a meatball and doner factory in the Organized Industrial Zone. It also has a sales company with activities such as Bahar Hindi, Bahar Süt Ürünleri, Danone, Polonez, Ülker İçim and sales of imported cheeses.
Ali Bahar, who has been adding value to Antalya by producing within the Bahar Group since 1995, is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahar Gida Group, Bahar Gida, Bahaet and BHR Dairy Company. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Organization of Organized Industrial Estates, Vice Chairman of the Entrepreneurs’ Committee of Antalya Organized Industrial Estates, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Antalya Organized Industrial Estates and Member of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council. Ali Bahar is married and the father of two children, a girl and a boy.
