Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani hit a massive three-run home run at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Tuesday night.
Ohtani hit a ball off Boston Red Sox starter Tanner Hawk in the third inning and smashed it deep into the right-center field stands.
The home run made Dodgers All-Star Game history, as it was the first home run hit by a Dodgers player in the Midsummer Classic in nearly 30 years.
According to @DodgerInsider on social media:
Shohei Ohtani became the first Dodgers player to hit a home run in an All-Star Game since Mike Piazza in 1996.

Ohtani is the face of baseball, and the home run was the perfect way to start the All-Star game, which will be his first with a National League team after signing a 10-year contract with the Dodgers during the offseason.
The Japanese sensation has made four All-Star appearances. He has also won two MVP awards, two Rookie of the Year awards, and two Silver Slugger awards. Batting behind Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman, Ohtani is having another great season. He currently has 29 home runs and 69 RBIs. His 29 home runs are tops in the National League. He also leads the NL in runs scored with 75, and has assumed the leadoff role following Betts’ recent injury.
Ohtani will undoubtedly receive MVP votes again this season and has a good chance of winning the award.
His home run gave the National League a 3-0 lead at the time, but the American League quickly tied the game in the bottom of the inning.
