The All-Star Game starting lineup was announced on Monday, with manager Bruce Bochy presenting the roster that included the New York Yankees.
Star right fielder Juan Soto will hit third base in the American League and star center fielder Aaron Judge will bat cleanup. Hitting third base ensures Soto will face Pittsburgh Pirates superstar Paul Skenes, who will start in the National League. The baseball world would welcome the opportunity to see Judge face off against Skenes.
What’s more, both Yankees players are trying to accomplish something that hasn’t been accomplished in the franchise’s 60-plus year history.

The Yankees have struggled to finish the first half of the season, losing six of their last 10 games, but Soto and Judge have done their jobs all season.
Soto, 25, is batting .295 with 23 homers and 66 RBIs in his first season with New York after being traded from the San Diego Padres, and is playing just as well as the Yankees hoped he would, with a .985 OPS.
Judge is batting .306 with 34 home runs and 85 RBIs, all best in baseball.
