Heathrow Express has launched a limited-time offer this summer to make its services more affordable for customers.
The company sold 25,000 one-way tickets during August for just £10 each.
The company said the special offer will allow travellers to enjoy a return trip for just £20, adding that families will particularly benefit from the offer as children under 15 will continue to travel free. This means a family of five – two parents and three children – can travel for £20 one way, or £40 round trip.
Mark Eastwood, head of commercial strategy at Heathrow Express, said: “With the summer holidays fast approaching, we’re thrilled to be able to share this fantastic offer and important travel tips with our passengers, and we encourage everyone to book early to secure one of the 25,000 tickets available on sale throughout August.”
The operator, which runs a premium direct train service between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport, has also published five “tips” to help people enjoy smoother journeys this summer.

• Learn about the culture, customs and local laws beforehand.
• Check travel advice and health information. Book tours and attractions in advance.
• Research and plan the main attractions you want to visit.
• Booking in advance will give you the best rates and availability. Have your documents ready.
• Make sure your passport is up to date and has at least six months validity.
• Make copies of important documents (passport, visas, travel insurance, itinerary) and keep them separate from the originals. Stay in touch:
