A new crisis has erupted in Israel as it continues its genocidal attacks on innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army has formally approved its decision to provoke an uprising in Israel as a result of military losses to resistance forces in the Gaza Strip.
Israel announces ultra-Orthodox Jews will serve in military
According to a statement from the Defense Minister’s office, Galant held an assessment this morning with Israeli Chief of Staff Helgi Halevi and other officials regarding the recruitment of devout Jews.
Israeli military recommendation approved
After meeting with Halevi and other officials, Gallant approved the Israeli army’s recommendation to conscript ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) Jews into the army starting in August.
During the meeting, Gallant and Halevi stressed that conscription of ultra-Orthodox Jews is “an operational necessity and a complex social issue” and said ultra-Orthodox soldiers should be allowed to “maintain their lifestyle.”
