Plastic surgeons in Turkey have performed an astonishing facial transformation on a man who some say looks 30 years younger.
Este Med Istanbul shared the extensive procedures they performed on Instagram, writing, “We performed a Facelift, Neck Lift, Lower Blepharoplasty, Upper Blepharoplasty, Cheek Fat Removal, Rhinoplasty and Hair Transplant on our patient Michael. He has undergone an incredible transformation as you can see from the pictures.”
Michael’s before and after photo montage quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), with the post being viewed millions of times, with the caption reading, “Turkish surgeon does crazy thing by performing 8 surgeries at once… This man comes back 30 years younger.”
Social media users were stunned by the results of Michael’s surgery, with one X user commenting: “When I’m 55 I’m definitely going to get surgery and look 30 again.”
Another expressed surprise: “Oh my goodness! If I need a facelift in 10 years I know where I’ll be going. Turkey and Korea are basically even when it comes to plastic surgery.”

Another person humorously stated: “If I won the lottery in 30 years I wouldn’t tell anyone but… there will be signs (fresh faces and turkey holidays).”
One person mused: “Imagine 20-30 years from now when we will all be needing plastic surgery. We will be living the longest and looking the youngest in human history. It’s time to not only look young on the outside, but also take care of the inside!”
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) estimates that the number of UK residents choosing to have their surgery overseas has almost doubled in four years, with 248,000 choosing this option in 2019, compared to 120,000 in 2015.

In 2022 alone, Turkey has become a popular medical tourism destination, welcoming 1.2 million British tourists. Turkey’s 913 cosmetic surgery clinics are offering comprehensive packages to foreign patients, including airport transfers, hotel accommodation and shuttle buses to appointments.
Depending on the treatment you choose, such a package can cost less than £3,000.
