Sweet Corn Coke Float, Sweet Heat Bacon, Swedish Ice Cream Sundae, and many other creative dishes. Before you start planning your taste buds tour, check out this list of new foods being offered at this year’s Minnesota State Fair.
The list, released by fair officials Tuesday morning, includes 33 official new foods and six new vendors.
New vendors at this year’s fair include:
Chang’s Eatery will serve Korean corn dogs (hot dogs and mozzarella cheese breaded, deep-fried and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar), eight kinds of mochi doughnuts, and fruit and milk bubble tea.
El Burrito Mercado serves quesabirria taquitos (deep-fried rolled tacos stuffed with beef smothered in red sauce and cheese, topped with salsa verde and crumbled cheese), esquitos (corn kernels cooked with herbs and topped with sour cream, crumbled cheese, chili powder and lime), and agua de sandia loca (a watermelon drink with chamoy and flavored dried mango pieces).
Koshalina Egyptian Cuisine offers koshari (rice, pasta, chickpeas, lentils, tomato sauce, garlic-vinegar “dhaka” sauce, topped with fried onions) in three varieties (chicken, beef and veggie) and also serves caffeine-free iced hibiscus tea.
Loon Lake Iced Tea offers Cotton Candy Iced Tea as well as a variety of freshly brewed, naturally flavored iced teas sweetened with cane sugar.
Indigenous Food Lab at Midtown Global Market sells nixtamal and wild rice bowls with wozapi and bison meatballs or sweet potato dumplings, with the option to add cricket and seed mix.
Paella Depot serves chicken and chorizo paella (a traditional Spanish caramelized rice dish with leeks, red peppers, zucchini and snap peas; you can also add a fried egg or seafood) as well as six flavors of aguas frescas, made with fruit puree, whole fruit, lime juice, agave and water.
The new concessions and food will be among the roughly 1,600 menu items available at about 300 concession stands across the venue.
This year’s Minnesota State Fair opens on August 22nd and runs through Labor Day on September 2nd.

New for 2024, Loon Lake Iced Tea offers the official new food Cotton Candy Iced Tea as well as a variety of freshly brewed, naturally flavored iced teas sweetened with cane sugar, including blood orange, blueberry, peach, strawberry and unsweetened.

Kosharina Egyptian Cuisine, a new vendor for 2024, offers three types of koshari (rice, pasta, chickpeas, lentils, tomato sauce, garlicky vinegar “dhaka” sauce, topped with fried onions) (chicken, beef and veggie) along with caffeine-free iced hibiscus tea. The koshari is gluten-free without the pasta, and the veggie is vegan.

Chan’s Eatery, a new vendor for 2024, offers Korean Corn Dogs (hot dog and mozzarella cheese breaded, deep fried and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar; customers can also choose to have them smothered in fries or change the topping to Hot Cheetos® with spicy mayonnaise), eight flavors of Mochi Donuts (Original Glaze, Churro, Cookies & Cream, Fruity Pebbles™, Chocolate, Strawberry, Matcha and Taro), and fruit and milk bubble teas with optional tapioca and jelly toppings.
