After the wrestlers stepped onto the podium in front of the protocol seats, the prizes and cups were presented.
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz wore a gold belt from Başpelivan Yusuf Can Zeybek.
CHP Chairman Ozgür Ozer and Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Ashkin Bak also presented medals and trophies to the top wrestlers.
Other category winners included Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Hamza Yerlikaya, CHP Group Vice Chairman Ali Mahir Bashkar, CHP Vice Chairman Gökhan Zeybek, CHP Secretary General Serin Sayek Boquet and CHP Edirne Deputy Minister Edir. The event was hosted by Ung and Ahmet Baran Yazgan, AK Party Edirne Deputy Fatma Aksal, CHP Trabzon Deputy Sibel Suismes, Chairman of the Union of Turkish Local Authorities and Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem İmamoğlu, Chairman of the Oil Wrestling City Association and Balikesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Akin, Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan Akin, President of the Turkish Traditional Wrestling Federation Ibrahim Türkis, Vice President of the Turkish Traditional Wrestling Federation Sahin Khopur and Kirkpinar Wrestling Ağa Seyfettin Selim.
Afterwards, a group photo was taken with the main wrestlers.
The 663rd historic Kırkpinar Oil Wrestling came to a close with 2023 chief wrestler Yusuf Can Zeybek lowering the Turkish flag that had been raised during the official opening ceremony on Friday accompanied by the singing of the national anthem.
