A 23,000 square foot building in the heart of downtown Brockton is ready to fulfill all your party, dining and cocktail needs with a warm island atmosphere like no other. When it comes to Haitian restaurants in Brockton, Tambou might be at the top of the list. This restaurant has been a Brockton staple for over a decade, changing the way people think about dinner and a “show.” The restaurant prides itself on keeping Haitian culture alive by hosting parties and weekly events to attract crowds. After 9pm, you’ll hear live music and DJs. If you don’t come to Tambou for the music, you’ll definitely come for the food. The menu includes red snapper steamed in sauce and spices, griyo (fried pork), john john rice (black mushroom rice), coconut shrimp, fried plantains, and Caribbean chicken smothered in sauce. Drinks feature a tropical Caribbean flavor from the Haitian Persuasion, which is full of imported Haitian rum.
