930. In Urbandale, the Living History Farm hosted a day of fun for all ages. People got to enjoy a historic baseball game, a parade, games, and even a pie-eating contest. We asked the gold medal winners what the secret to their sweet victory was, trying to lift the pie out of the pan and eat it. We love pie. We have pie nights in our house. It’s a frequent event. It was just what I hoped for and what’s more, I’ve been waiting for this. You know, we haven’t been here since before COVID and haven’t done anything like this. He was well trained and people also enjoyed crafts and free stuff.
