Shared from Ozdag: The reason things have come to this is because of spoiled Syrians
Victory Party Chairman Umit Ozdag also made a statement on the issue on his social media accounts, saying the escalation would benefit Turkey’s enemies and that “the reason it has come to this is without a doubt because spoiled Syrians resisted and did not hand over the rapists to the police.”
Ozda called on people to return to their homes, saying:
“In the Eskisehir Baglari district of Kayseri”
– A Syrian refugee raped another 5-year-old Syrian girl.
-The relatives of the rapist create difficulties for the police trying to catch the rapist and the case escalates.
– Turkish people living nearby heard about the incident and responded to the Syrians resisting the police. Turkish people in other areas also took to the streets and fought back against the Syrians.
– Events suddenly escalate. There are not enough police. By order of the governor, all police officers who are on leave are called to emergency duty.
-Government police have been instructed to protect Syrians.
In the heavily Syrian-populated *Danishment Gazi* area, the people of Kayseri have taken to the streets and started protesting. Police have also been deployed to the area. No doubt the reason things have come to this is because spoiled Syrians resisted the rapists instead of turning them over to the police.
Dear residents of Kayseri, please use the police to return to your homes. You responded: “Escalation will benefit Turkey’s enemies.”
