The woman and her ex-boyfriend were together for 10 years but eventually broke up about a year ago.
At the time, she was suffering from depression and going through a difficult time mentally, which her ex-husband claims was a big reason why he wanted to end the relationship.
However, shortly after the split, her ex-husband started a new relationship with one of her best friends.
“They were secretly meeting before we broke up. I don’t know if there was anything physical but it feels like cheating to me,” she revealed.
Naturally, she was devastated by this, but over the past year, she’s been working hard to recover from the breakup: Since then, she’s been going to therapy, moved to a new city, found a new job, and, in her words, “is totally fine.”
She’s met a new guy who she thinks is really amazing and is excited to see where their budding relationship goes.
But just a few weeks ago, she suddenly remembered her ex-lover and found herself with an opportunity to sneak around and snoop.
“By pure chance, I stumbled upon a way to see my ex-boyfriend’s Google search history. Turns out, he’d once logged into my phone and never logged out,” she explained.
So she started looking into his search history, which she admits is “weirdly fun” to pry into: She checks his Google searches every now and then, and enjoys finding out if her ex is struggling.
