People are rejoicing over a tasty new survey that determines the most popular fast-food chicken sandwich in the country, with one top-notch sandwich rising above all the rest.
The intrepid researchers at Coupon Bird surveyed 2,000 American bird-eaters about their quick-service chicken preferences and broke down the results by state, finding that 53% of us prefer Chick-fil-A over any other food.

Not only has the trendy brand thrived in its home states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida and Texas, but the chicken shacks, which are closed on Sundays, have also won the hearts of many in the West, beating out competitors in California and Mexico.
Plus, Chick-fil-A seems to be filling the hearts and stomachs of Midwesterners in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

Known for its service-first approach, the fast food restaurant has become a hit across the Northeast, gaining popularity in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.
It is also popular in Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Plus, Americans love Popeyes chicken.
It has become a popular chicken not only in New York State, but also in neighboring Connecticut and Rhode Island.
The Cajun-inspired chain was naturally beloved in Louisiana, as well as Arizona, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada and Montana.
KFC, Colonel Sanders’s longtime pride, received top ratings in just three states: Kentucky, where it originated, North Dakota and Kansas.
KFC only won a few states.
Wendy’s has had limited success, winning Alaska, Maine and Wyoming.
People in Hawaii voted for “Raising Cane’s,” while people in Idaho enjoyed “Jack in the Box” the most.
People didn’t love McDonald’s: The inflation-hit chain received just 4% of the vote.
Many also stuck to their guns and avoided Burger King, which only received support from 4% of respondents.
