Food trucks are becoming increasingly popular not only in West Virginia but across the nation.
Food trucks have become hugely popular in West Virginia, whether it’s the unique taste of their food, their distinctive smell, or just their generally low prices.
“When people come to Bandit BBQ they know they’re going to get a good amount of food at a reasonable price. We’re here to serve the public and provide a great value meal,” said Steven Groves, owner of Bandit BBQ WV.
Not only will a food truck be more convenient price-wise, but it will also help support local businesses here in West Virginia.
“I can’t just perform for 20 or 30 people. I have to make money too,” Groves said.
While the restaurant industry is typically competitive and exclusive, the food truck industry is more welcoming. Taco Spot owner James Floyd told 59News, “Usually on Facebook, if we have an event, we’ll invite other food trucks. The whole small business community really helps each other out.”
You too can start your own food truck by connecting with existing food trucks like these on Facebook.

It also takes a great staff to run these food trucks efficiently, and Groves said his amazing staff played a key role in making a big event like the Whizbanger’s Ball a success.
