Toka Bocca Restaurant Old Forge, 3067 State Route 28, Old Forge, 06/14/2024. Item 15A, floors, walls, ceilings, not smooth, properly constructed, in disrepair, dirty surfaces. Inspection comments: no food prep at the time of inspection, gloves, metal stem probe thermometer, chlorine sanitizer present, reviewed food handling and temperature requirements with kitchen staff, all refrigeration temperatures acceptable, total of 75 seats observed with combination of 2nd floor dining area, outdoor deck, and first floor bar area. Occasionally facility will host a wedding or party in the pavilion building. Food items are prepared in the kitchen and brought to the pavilion for buffet style. If the crowd is over 50-60 persons portable toilet units are brought in otherwise patrons would go to the main building to use the bathroom. The septic tank and leach field areas were walked and we did not observe any evidence of sewage failures.
