The internal confessions within FETO, the state of Fethullah Gülen’s health, and his kidnapping at another house have further deepened the rifts within the organisation.
According to information received from security sources, in order to change their course, members of the organization are currently preparing to submit a letter to US President Joe Biden, just days before the eighth anniversary of the attempted coup on July 15. In addition, some US Congress members have also contributed to the prepared letter.

Recently, FETO has been divided by intensifying internal conflicts, the confession following the illness of its leader Fethullah Gülen, and the kidnapping allegations. The commitment and conviction among its members has gradually diminished, and cracks have begun to appear.
The organization’s top management made every effort to prevent this split. Photographs and images of allegedly live past appearances were shared to prove that Fethullah Gülen was in “good health.” Journalists affiliated with the organization published footage of the organization leader’s visit.
Having lost credibility, FETO is now seeking a new path and has written a letter to US President Biden against Turkiye.
They are trying to influence Turkey-US relations
In the letter they drafted, FETO members said that “unfair policies” were being pursued against their organization’s members, without mentioning the attempted coup against the Turkish government.
In their letter, FETO members also mentioned Turkey’s internal political issues, as they have filed a complaint to US President Biden against the Turkish government over the European Court of Human Rights’ rulings against Selahattin Demirtas, Osman Kavala and Yüksel Yalçinkaya.
The letter draws attention to efforts to interfere in Turkey’s bilateral relations with the US. It calls for the US approach to Turkey to be “based on human rights” and urges US President Biden to apply pressure on Ankara.
Fethu’s efforts to return to Türkiye continue
The efforts of the group’s members to return to Turkey are also highlighted, taking into account the demands made in the letter, one of which is to ensure the unconditional release and reinstatement of detainees belonging to the Fethullahist terrorist organization to their jobs.
Based on the letter they wrote to the US President, the organization’s members are seeking ways to “exonerate” hundreds of martyrs and thousands of veterans who lost their lives without a second thought during the bloody coup attempt of July 15.
FETO members have not yet shared the letter they wrote to US President Joe Biden. The group launched a petition before sharing the letter. FETO hopes to increase the number of signatures added to the letter, thereby increasing the organization’s influence on US President Biden.

Final moves before NATO summit
FETO is literally playing its “last trump card” ahead of the NATO summit to be held in the United States in July 2024, with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. They are working to have the letter to be delivered to US President Biden become the agenda for the NATO summit. They are trying to change the agenda in their own way by conducting dark propaganda against Turkey.
