The Turkish Football Federation’s (TFF) Club Licensing Committee has decided on spending limits for Super League teams for the 2024-2025 season.
According to the TFF figures, Galatasaray, who won the championship last season, are the team with the highest spending limit, with Fenerbahce coming in second.
The TFF statement is as follows:
“The Club Licensing Committee, at its meeting on 19 June 2020, decided on the Super League team expenditure limits for the 2024-2025 season.
Within the scope of Article 121 of the Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Directive, which came into force on 30 December 2022, the Super League team expenditure limit determined in accordance with the procedures in Annex XIII was calculated as follows:
As stated in Appendix XIII F of the Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Instructions:
Professional Football Team Spending Limits for clubs that did not participate in Super League in Season T. For clubs that finished Season T in Super League between 7th and 15th place, an average of one season of the approved team spending limits for T+ (excluding the highest and lowest spending teams) will apply.
As stated in Article G of Annex XIII of the Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Instructions:
The team expenditure limits determined for a club may be increased for reasons and procedures specified by the Club Licensing Committee, upon applications made up to 15 December and up until 18:00 on the last day of the transfer and registration period.
**This ranking is organised according to the standings at the end of the 2023-2024 Super League season.”
