Three-day balance sheet for the holiday: 22 dead, 4,043 injured
On Monday, June 17, the third day of the holiday, Prime Minister Yerlikaya announced that 824 traffic accidents had occurred in 24 hours, killing six people and injuring 1,327.
Erikaya said the team inspected 311 vehicles out of 375,000, pointing out that 857 vehicles out of 23,000 were subjected to speed and radar inspections, while 786 vehicles out of 26,000 were subjected to other procedures.
Yerlikaya urged people to follow traffic rules and said:
