The political party delegation is making an Eid visit on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
When Ankara MP Zeynep Yildiz, head of the AKP delegation that visited the MHP, failed to touch the treats offered to her, MHP Deputy Speaker Mevlüt Karakaya stepped in, saying: “We let our tea go cold, too.”
“Get out, it’s done, it’s given.”
Karakaya added, “We let the tea cool by talking like this. The guests don’t buy cakes. In our Turkish tradition and culture, if the guest doesn’t eat what is offered, we make a bundle for the guest and give it to them the next time. So if they don’t eat it, we’ll do something about it.”
AKP member Zeynep Yildiz also had to sample the chocolates on the coffee table.
Recognition is being made
MHP Deputy Chairman Mevlüt Karakaya said the People’s Alliance should not be perceived as an “electoral alliance”, saying:
“We are talking about an alliance with the goal of the Turkish century, we have decided to realize the Turkish century, and within the framework of this decision we have clarified our goals and launched these initiatives. This is the mentality. Some of them have the idea that:” What should be taken into account is that the People’s Alliance may have a shelf life. This vision is important, and “if this vision is established, tomorrow the parties whose names will be Party A and Party B can take over.”
Karakaya claimed there had been “perception manipulation” regarding the People’s Alliance, saying, “The trap regarding perception manipulation could change the public’s mind. The People’s Alliance has been successful in the elections so far. We are calling it Turkey’s century, we are talking.” Regarding the party with the goal of the century, he said, “Ultimately, the People’s Alliance is a party,” and “This will go down in Turkish political history.”
“They will find a way to make up for the death of our president.”
AKP’s Zeynep Yıldız also said, “Everywhere we go, we explain that this is an alliance founded on principles, not profit-oriented. After all, we are not profit-oriented like some people are, but in the end, we are not profit-oriented.” “It is based on principles, we have ideals for the country. We are an alliance united on these principles. Our president expresses it on every platform. It is one of the most valuable trademarks.” An important posture in the politics of our country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is loyalty to the president. Therefore, the position taken by Debret Bahçeli in the crisis period will always be reflected in the president’s loyalty. “We have done most of these and will continue to do so in the future. So to speak, our race is with ourselves and we are at the stage of ‘what more can we do’ for this country,” he said.
