“As a policy I always avoid AI on international flights and leave it as a last option on domestic flights. I can’t let it ruin my trip,” one person wrote.
“This is so awful! Such a shame Vistara will fall into their hands and suffer the same fate,” added another.
A third person quipped: “Air India has had too many complaints recently, including one where a passenger was suffocated for several hours on a flight from Delhi to San Francisco International Airport.”
A fourth added: “They also damaged my luggage. I was on a holiday trip to Goa. I received a slip from Air India ground staff in Goa detailing the damage. But Air India did not provide any compensation for the damage. I think Air India could have done better with the government.”

In early April, a passenger alleged that Air India had tossed his musical instrument while loading his baggage. Just a month later, in May, another passenger shared a post alleging that they’d encountered several issues during an Air India flight from New York to New Delhi, including a broken headphone jack, a scratched seat, and a malfunctioning sliding table.
