It’s the Oxnard Salsa Festival, which began in 1993, and will gladly return to downtown Oxnard the last weekend of July in 2024. And we say “willingly” indeed. The festival hasn’t been held for five years, and its return in 2024 is highly anticipated.
Tickets are on sale now, with several options to choose from. Of course (and spicy), the Salsa Tasting Experience is a can’t-miss for many party-goers at Plaza Park. Featured salsas are a diverse and delicious lineup of pico de gallo, ranchera, verde, and more, sourced from the Oxnard area and across the country. Lovers of the exquisite style of perfectly performed salsa will want to find a spot to watch talented dancers dance to live salsa and Latin jazz. Shopping, a kids’ area, food vendors, and other sunny, summery entertainment will also add to the outdoor event. General admission starts at $6.99, but there are other admission options available, depending on which salsa favorite captures your heart.
