The accident occurred at around 08:00 at the Tinggilor location on the Sinop-Boyabat road. According to information received, the car driven by Ender Colakli collided with an oncoming SB-controlled vehicle. After the collision, a fire broke out inside the vehicle.
Four people lost their lives
Dr. Mehmet Turan Yazlak and Dr. Ender Çorakli (RT) lost their lives in the accident, while Dr. Beyza Nur Çetin was injured. Dr. Sena Sakin died at Sinop Ataturk State Hospital.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement on his social media accounts:
“In an accident that occurred in Boyabat District, Sinop, as a result of a collision between a hospital service vehicle carrying our doctor and another vehicle, two of our friend doctors, the driver of the service vehicle, and one citizen in an oncoming vehicle lost their lives, and two were injured. One of the injured was a friend of our doctor who was in the service vehicle, and the other was a friend of our doctor who crossed the road. He was operated on at Sinop Ataturk State Hospital. He is being monitored in the intensive care unit. We pray for God’s mercy on our two friends and the citizen who was in the other vehicle, and we offer our condolences to their families and our community.”
