The car was found empty late Sunday morning in the 5000 block of Plover Avenue.
ST. LOUIS — A woman attempting to deliver food in north St. Louis was threatened with a gun and had her car stolen, police said.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a carjacking around 4:30 a.m. in the 4900 block of Alcott Avenue in the city’s Walnut Park East neighborhood.
Police say a 34-year-old woman in a 2016 Honda Fit was making a food delivery in the area when she noticed the address was a vacant lot.
The victim told police that two men approached him from the side of his house, pointed a gun at him and demanded that he leave his vehicle. The victim complied. The two suspects then got into a vehicle and fled, police said.
The car was later found empty in the 5000 block of Plover Avenue.
The investigation is ongoing.
