The alleged death of FETO leader Fethullah Gülen has been on the agenda for some time. The fact that his farm in Pennsylvania was completely evacuated, his long silence, and finally the statement of his nephew have brought the situation to the surface.
Amid these allegations, new images were released. The footage showed Gulen struggling to speak as he chatted with those around him. Asking those around him about their work, Gulen said: “Alhamdulillah, the service will continue. It’s not about us. Those programs should continue like this. Everything is from God. That is our purpose in life. All this may continue for 50 years, or even more. “Alhamdulillah, they did not disappoint my friends at all,” he said.
Asking his guests if they had eaten, Gülen reminded them of a previous conversation they had: “What good people they were,” he said.
Is he staying in a CIA “safe house”?
The images show that Fethullah Gulen did not appear to be staying at his farm as usual, and he has also been said to be staying in one of the CIA’s safe houses.
Who is behind you?
It was revealed that the person standing next to Gülen was Abdullah Aimaz, one of the leaders of the organization and said to be the successor to the mastermind Fethullah Gülen after his death.
Who is Abdulla Aimaz?
One of Gulen’s first students, Aymaz was one of 14 people who helped found the organization that bore his name in 1966.
Aymaz, who used the code names “Hussein Bayram” and “Sahved Seni”, was arrested in 1971 and 1980 but was acquitted in the cases against him.
Aymaz, who became the organization’s so-called Konya Imam in 1983 at the behest of its leader Gülen, also carried out activities for the organization in Kayseri, Niğde, Kirşehir and Nevşehir during his four-year stay there.
Aymaz was then tasked with establishing the organization in Europe, working in the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and Denmark.
Because of his loyalty to Gülen and his achievements, Aymaz was appointed the organization’s so-called “inspector general” a year later.
Exile in America
Aimaz began working as editor-in-chief of Zaman newspaper, one of the organisation’s news outlets, in 1990 and was appointed by the ringleaders as the country’s imam for the US shortly after.
Aymaz, who founded the FETO Golden Generation Foundation in New Jersey, returned to Turkey after a three-year stay there.
Pope John II Aymaz attended the Easter celebration hosted by John Paul in 1997, along with Mesut Elisen, the Vatican representative for Zaman newspaper, and Salih Dede, the Greek representative. He was part of the team that organized the meeting with John Paul.
Aymaz fled to the United States with Gulen in 1999 after a case was filed against him in the Court of State Security, and two years later he went to Germany to serve as the country’s imam.
Aymaz, who has been living in Germany since then, sits on the monitoring board of the Berlin-based Dialogue and Education Foundation, which acts as the organization’s black propaganda center.
He also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of World Media Group AG, headquartered in Offenbach.
Aymaz is one of the people believed to be the successors of leader Gülen after his death, and represents the “traditionalist” wing of the organization along with Gülen’s first students Mehmet Ali Şengül, Ismail Büyükçelebi, Ismet Aksoy and Sherif Ali Tekarn.
