18 State Code Yellow Warnings
Due to expected rainfall, a code yellow warning was issued for the capital Ankara, Afyonkarahisar, Ağali, Artvin, Bolu, Cankiri, Erzurum, Eskisehir, Kars, Kirsehir, Konya, Nevsehir, Rize, Yozgat, Bayburt, Kırkkale, Ardahan and Karabük.
Residents of the prefecture were urged to be vigilant against flooding and inundation.

It will rain from noon in Ankara.
In a statement, the Ankara Governor said that according to data from the Ankara Meteorological Directorate’s Ankara Regional Forecast and Early Warning Center, localized strong thunderstorms are expected across the province from noon today.
The statement said heavy rainfall is expected and people should pay close attention to adverse effects such as flooding, inundation, lightning, localized hail, strong winds, short-term storms and transportation disruptions.
In the Northeast, it starts in the afternoon.
According to the Meteorological Directorate, locally strong thunderstorms are expected tomorrow afternoon around Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Ari and Bayburt, as well as inland in Rize and Artvin.
