During a meeting with AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday, former Doği Party Chairman Meral Akşener reportedly made the request to Erdogan regarding his son. Akşener allegedly conveyed his request to President Erdogan to appoint his son, Fatih Akşener, to the Paris embassy.
President and Chairman of the AKP Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with former Chairman of the AKP Meral Akşener at the Presidential Palace yesterday. The content of the 40-minute meeting was not disclosed. Some notable claims were made about the surprise meeting.
Chirai and Altairi claim
“We have received information from very serious sources that there is a demand for someone from the Akşener family to become an ambassador,” former IYU Party deputy Aytun Çilai said during a live broadcast on Soşç TV last night.
Journalist Fatih Altaïr made similar claims in a broadcast on her YouTube channel.
“Akshener wanted someone from his family to be appointed as an ambassador with the title of ambassador. Efforts on this have been going on for the past few months. It is said that meetings on this topic are being held,” Altaili said.
“There are rumors about the Paris Embassy.”
Claiming that the request had been made by Akşener’s son, Fatih Akşener, Altair said:
