Bursa
Forest fires broke out in three provinces. The first report of the fire came from Bursa. The fire was discovered in Topuk district of Orhaneli district at around 13:30 and a team was dispatched.

Teams from the Bursa Regional Forestry Directorate are fighting the fire from land using 18 sprinklers, 48 vehicles and around 400 personnel.

Partially managed
Four helicopters and four aircraft are assisting with the work at height. The fire, which broke out in a red pine forest, was partially extinguished after three and a half hours thanks to land and air intervention.

“An area about 100 hectares wide.”
Bursa Governor Mahmud Demirtas visited the area and inspected the firefighting efforts there.
“The area is about 100 hectares. We have four helicopters and four planes and we have about 400 personnel intervening. Thankfully, it is relatively better now. Our forestry organizations, everyone is cooperating,” Demirtaş said after receiving information from the authorities. “Thank God, we are working hard to put this fire out as quickly as possible,” he said.

Antalya
At around 3 p.m., a fire of unknown cause broke out in a forest area near the Haçaliler district of Aksu province in Antalya.

Upon being notified, numerous teams were dispatched to the area. The fire was extinguished by two helicopters, two firefighting planes, 12 water sprinklers, two first response vehicles and numerous forestry workers from the Antalya Regional Forestry Directorate.

The fire was brought under control after the work of the team and damaged around five hectares of forest area.

Moolah
The fire broke out for unknown reasons in a forest area in Alachamlar area of Milas district of Mugla at around 3.30pm.

Following the report, five planes and four helicopters from the Muğla Regional Forestry Directorate, 44 sprinklers, numerous forestry workers and the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality fire brigade intervened in the fire.

Two hectares of forest area was damaged in the fire but it was brought under control after the intervention of air and ground teams.

Military police have begun operations in the area regarding a roadside fire.
