LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Get ready to work up an appetite: The 17th annual Las Vegas Restaurant Week is nearly two weeks away, bringing another round of dining out and giving back to the community.
This 12-day event provides area restaurants with the opportunity to give back through the culinary arts. People can give back by dining at participating restaurants for 12 days. A portion of the proceeds will support the mission of Three Square Food Bank to provide meals to food insecure families and individuals.
More than 250 restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week this year, more than usual. Participating restaurants across the Valley offer breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner options with cuisines from around the world, including Italian, Chinese, Mediterranean, Brazilian and Mexican.

Each restaurant will offer a variety of prix fixe menu items ranging in price from $20 to $120, with $4, $5 or $6 per meal donated to Three Square. More than 15 participating foodservice businesses, including local bars, breweries and coffee shops, will also offer special promotions that will donate $1, $2 or $3 per purchase to Three Square.
One in seven Southern Nevadans is food insecure. Every dollar donated to Three Square Food Bank helps provide three meals to people in need. Last year’s donations enabled Three Square to provide more than 660,000 meals to the community. Since its founding in 2007, the bank has provided millions of meals to people in need through Las Vegas Restaurant Week.
